K2

The smaller, unranked sub-summit commonly referred to as K2. This little point typically marks the start of the Knife Ridge along the standard Northeast Ridge Route. I've heard Ken Nolan refer to that deeply etched gully as the, 'elevator shaft'. Probably nothing more than a garbage chute.
