| Fun, and what a view. I'll reiterate, like everyone else, it's not really much of a 'peak,' per say, but that isn't any reason not to do it. It's more than worthwhile as a diversion if you're up that way anyway. | ||

| Beautiful views all around, perfect day for photos and climbing/hiking. The trek through the Kumbu was also a highlight, as were the many Monasteries and wonderful people along the trail from the Lukla Airport to base camp of Everest. I bought a bottle of coca-cola for $1 near Gorak Shep at a Lodge(??), wonder how much it is now? | ||

| Wind at the summit was something else, but the view of Everest is the most spectacular you will ever see. An amazing experience. | ||

| I do not consider this a peak - it is a hill which you walk up! Nevertheless it is useful for acclimatisation before trying a trekking peak in the region and this is what I did. I really enjoyed walking up this hill - I got a great picture of everest as well. Click on the link for a picture of Pumori taken from the summit. | ||

| Magda Soler and Lluis Canals summited in a very clear day. The West Face of Nuptse is as impressive as Sagarmatha itself. Very interesting to see the Lho La, a high pass to Tibet. | ||

| A first trip to the Himalaya. What can one say? Breathtaking, just breathtaking. No pun intended. My wife and I stayed there for sunset, alpenglow shining on Everest. That night I threw up at camp in Gorak Shep. Part of the deal, sometimes. | ||

| Its worth the effort to be there at odd hours before or after the crowd. Spectacular views, excellent panoramas. I was there in 1980, 1982, and again in 1986 there was always something different to behold. I will be back again I hope. | ||

| A spur of Pumori... with lots of false summits. Breathtaking views of Everest across the valley. I was there early (summited about 10AM) to see Everest before the afternoon clouds covered the summit- then back to Lobuje that night. | ||
