Dear Nader,It seems that you had been recently in Taleghaan,I think you took this picture from Sefid Aab valley,the right name of this peak is Kal e seng in Tati language (taleghani language) Kal means the male Bezoar(wild goat) and seng means sang, it doesn't mean kalleh (head).
My late parents were originaly from Taleghaan.
I really enjoyed your nice pictures from Shah Alborz,I have been in this summit 15 years ago but for Hunting at that time.
The reason for the name Sefid Aab is that in this valley, there is a wonderful Spring with a considerable water flow like a river and the flow is very fast therefore the water comes mixed with air bubbles and seems to be white,for this reason it is called Sefid Aab.

kalleh Sang Summits

Dear Nader

I have seen your pages about talegan central Alborz summits recently and they are very useful.

But about Kalleh Sang peak or summits, there are many notes about them.

It is good idea that you see my site, www.zeinali.ir/souhan.htm and especially the pages about Kalleh sang, with English and Persian text and if you would be agree, additional and supplementary information or create private page about Kalleh Sang summits
is done.
