Not correct name. This is Kalurong also named Kaluxung. The elevation is 6674 meter. Good photo. Japan made first ascent only 3 years ago.

Thanks for your remark, I've edited the name. I had seen 3 contradicting maps of the area and was a bit confused between Kalurong and Jetung Chutang. Do you have a precise map of the area by ane chance?

The ascent of Xaluxung is straighforward and both North(map 6674m, GPS 6686m)and South (map 6536m, GPS 6551m) Summits can be climbed on the same day. Easiest access is from the north (right of Gyangyang Tso glacier lake)and following the moraine up to the glacier.
