I love this one!You have a great eye for colours, dear Vid! I must say, I find the tree on the top left actually does good service because it emphasizes, by being a contrast, the firy colour of the tree in the middle! :-)

Re: I love this one!Thanks Eric! It was such a nice autumn last year. By the way, making a non-agressive HDR image helped here with colours. I put down in grass a small tripod and took the usual 3 pictures, later combining them into HDR. It often pays off ;)

It's a simple explanation of an amateur. Then you can take any other source from the web, may be starting with Wikipedia or simply Googling for HDR. And - try the thing in the very beginning - at home. You just need a tripod and your camera should enable you to take at least 3 consecutive pictures - one overexposed, one underexposed and one exact.
