If I were going to trek there what other places would I want to visit with while in the area?

I would strongly recommend getting the books recommended in the book section for particulars on this mountain. Also Lonely Planet "Trekking in Nepal" has loads of information about additional sites dependign on your interest. Personally, besides the mountains I thought Kathmandu was a blast. I stayed in the Thamel section and would recommend it. There is tons to see- all within walking distance.
What improvements do oyu suggest for this page to rate it 4 star?
I upped the rating to 4 stars. When I was rating pages a while ago I was not looking at the book links. After looking at the book links I do think that this is a 4 star page. For some mountains and areas (especially outside the US) a book is a must have.
I have recently taken over this page. I have added some historical items and will be adding photos in the next couple of weeks, as well as trekking information. While I'm doing this please let me know if there is something more you would like to see.

Thanks much. I wasn't sure how people would actually READ all that stuff! It's still a work in progress. I have more to add, then will put some photos on the main page. Hopefully you will still get to Mera.
Thanks. This is still a work in progress so check back. I'll have some shots from a little bump of a peak we climbed above Pangpema soon. But, nothing like your Kyajo Ri. Congratulations on that, awesome!
