Kanjavec

[ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Kanjavec
Kanjavec, seen from the east, from the summit of Veliki Draški vrh. This winter is very poor with snow, usually Kanjavec would have a thick snow coverage, offering the longest ski tours in Julian Alps.

Over the right face in summer a market route comes up. Doing that face with skis, one would need to come over a short rock barrier, which is seen. Left in front there is the wall of Poprovec, which hosts some fun but quite hard climbs. The sunny side on the left is the side for skiing - towards Hribarice plateau. December, 2007.
