Great view.The first time I saw a photo taken from that point, I could barely believe this is an eastern peak.

I couldn't believe it either when we went. It has a true alpine feel.
Treeline is around 3500 feet.
There is no easy way up it unlike other N.E. peaks.
I love Katahdin, it really is in a class all it's own even considering the West!
