For an unfinished page this looks already excellent. Interesting geological info and nice shots.

Very nice. You're right, if it's not a 14er, few people seem to know about it. And if it's not a 13er, then no one knows about it! Good job in bringing this to our attention.

Charles,

Glad you like the Kataka page. Part of the reason I started climbing mountains was to get away... and climbing Mount Bierdstadt on a fourth of July weekend quickly dissuaded me that fourteeners were not necasarily the best way to achieve that goal. I enjoy sharing some of the little gems I have been up and I've been meaning to post this page for some time now. Thank you very much for your comments and vote.

Amen to that. It's one of the reasons winter climbing appeals to me so much!

Didn't find a walking stick about two hundred feet below it's summit on it's north ridge. I dropped one about two years ago on it.

Wonderful addition and excellent page.

Grant,

Sorry, I didn't see any sticks... but there was some snow cover. Perhaps thier still waiting for you to recover them. Anyway thanks for voting. Enjoy spring!

Thanks Ryan. If you check out the "more photos" section you can find more shots of Bierdstadt... like this one.

Thanks a lot for the vote. Hope your spring is going well.
