| Last ascent was on September 24th, 2006. We repeated the tour over the NE ridge. ___ On July 26th, 2006 I climbed by the NE ridge. Very nice! ___ On Nov. 3rd, 1996 we came by the East ridge. We were surprised by a few exposed details. ___ On Aug. 25th, 1980 we came on top through Belca valley with the two oldest boys. Also for them this was quite a challenge at that time - loose rocks, quite a big altitude difference. | |

| In July 2010 we climbed the NW ridge for the first time (slightly easier than the NE ridge). It is really a scenic route (e.g. offering nice views towards the Julian Alps), so we repeated it in October 2011. In May and June 2003 I was 3 times with my girlfriend Irene on the summit of Mittagskogel (once using the normal route from Bertahuette for ascent and descent, twice using the NE ridge route for ascent). This is a very nice mountain with a beautiful shape - especially seen from the austrian side - which is fun to climb all the time. | |
