Kevin Long Topping Out on the North Face
May 25th, 2004 - Kevin Long nearing the final portion of the Classic variation of Mt Ritter's North Face. Photo courtesy of Mike Shen, who took it while climbing a class 3 rock rib along the edge of the chute. I am waiting just below the rocks in the center, using them as a shield to avoid being pelted with the snow and ice that Kevin was knocking down.

Love your photos. Really makes me miss the steep snow and alpine ice climbing I did earlier in the year. Need to do some more!

Thanks again.
