Khanpur Dam

Khanpur Dam is a dam located on the Haro River near the town of Khanpur (NWFP), about 40 km from Islamabad, Pakistan.
The dam was completed in 1983 after a 15 year construction
It is an ideal place for day trip/picnic, boating,angling and watching migratory birds during winter. Rock-climbing opportunites exist for beginners.

	Hasn't voted	Thanks for your vote and nice comments, Khanur Dam is 40 km away from Islamabad.You can reach this beautiful place via Taxila.

Dear Dr.Shahid Iqbal, very good afternoon to you, if u know the location of taxila city, then u can approach khanpur dam within half an hour, if u r coming from rawalpindi then take right to taxila mueseum road / khanpur road to haripur. Just go ahead u will find the dam and enjoy. share ur feelings with me plz.
