Khaplu Fort Baltistan Pakistan

Khaplu Fort is situated in Khaplu, the capital town of Ghancheh District of Gilgit Baltistan at a distance of 105 Kilometers from Skardu. Khaplu Fort is one of the most magnificent 19th century buildings in the Gilgit Baltistan. It is constructed of stone masonry, reinforced with timber members and rendered in lime plaster. Now the Khaplu Fort is being restored by Aga Khan Trust for culture and funded by Government of Norway.
