Khashechal

June 26, 2006 The highest peak is Khashechal. The 1:50 000 map says 3945 m. Most mountain climbers in Iran say 4180 m. The second figure seems more believable. The peak on the left is Niar Darreh 3842 m. Note the impressive reddish horn to the right of Niar Darreh (Peak 3670 m). Looking west from the summit of Siyalan.

Yes, 4180 m.

If Niar Darreh is 3842 m, in this picture, Khashechal appears much taller.
