Uruymagovoy and Galdor Peaks bookend the headwall of the valley.
View from the upper kosh (summer range camp) on Khaznydon. The Ossetian word Don, river, can be traced throughout Eastern Europe, in the river names such as Danube, Dniester, Dnieper, Donets, and Don ... back from the time when the proto-Indoeuropean peoples spread out of the North Black Sea steppes.
