Where is Atwood

Lake in this photo? Is that it in the
background, or is it further to the southeast?

Yes, Lake Atwood is further to the southeast. From Gunsight Peak it is about 4.5 miles to the sse and is obscured by the Val ridge which lines the south side of Painter Basin. By coincidence, later this week, I might possibly be posting a picture of it from a different trip but I'm still sorting through those pictures.

Yeah - but that looks a lot like Garfield
Basin, (Five Point Lake?), in the background.
There's so many lakes & peaks, I need to get
a guidebook to keep track of them! Take care!!!
