Knife Edge on Atlantic's West Ridge
A knife edge on Atlantic's west ridge. Photo taken 4/28/2007. Snow conditions were soft but not rotten, so I was able to climb across with balance from my ski poles. However, under less ideal conditions an ice ax would give peace of mind due to the exposed snowfields on either side of the ridge.
