Wonderful page with lots of good info.

Kolakchal is certainly one of the most impressive parts of the Tochal ridgeline. From northeast Tehran, it dominates the view and appears even higher than the summit of Tochal itself.

there is an mistake on your description about Kolakchal.
You say:
"Kolakchal 3300m
Unamed peak east to Kolakchal 3340m"

In fact, first peak is "Kolakchal 2, 3330m" and second to the east is "Kolakchal Peak 3350m"

Corrected, I put the west peak as Kolakchal2 3300m and the east peak as Kolakchal 3340m.
I use Nader's maps as references, it shows 3340m for the east peak if your 3350m reference is accurate I will change to it.

I base my 3350m on 2 things:
1-official sign on the peak - see my picture please: http://my.homonto.eu/index.php?iID=3490
2-my GPS readings here: http://en.wikiloc.com/wikiloc/view.do?id=3723583 - this one shows even 3351m

Thanks, I updated the page with your numbers.
1- From my experience the GPS always shows the altitude a bit more than the real.
2- Unlike most of the Iranian maps and mountain signs which the signs on the Tochal range are accurate. An example of an in accuracy: Shah Alborz peak is 4125m but on the peak the sign says 4250m.
