| All right, this was a summer ascent which is accomplished by hundreds of people in each season, but the fact that I have waited 5 years to visit this peak makes it kind of special to me... :) A great day with great weather and great company... fantastic view all around... | |

| After finding out that a few years earlier, in March, and amid winter conditions we had in fact not reached the true summit despite believing so at the time (due to low visibility), we definitely wanted to have another go at this peak. This time we had fabulous weather and reached the summit in no time starting out from Popradske pleso. Some of our group even had time for a quick swim in Velke Hincovo pleso as part of a bet. After descending, off we trod to climb Rysy the same day. | |

| We didn't reach the summit but it was a nice trip. I liked it because there were few people and on the pass we were the only ones. I enjoyed climbing in the couloir under the pass because it had steep snow especially in the top of the couloir. The snow was perfect here we could use the crampons and ice axes very well. | |

| We tried from Hincovsky lakes but unfortunatelly we reached only the pass. The snow conditions were perfect until this place but the ridge was terrible with thin icy-snowy surface. So it was enough for us and turned back. Altough the unsuccess the trip was very nice I enjoyed a lot. It was very good to climb to the 2180m high pass in such a good snow conditions. I am sorry for the bad ridge path. Next time it will be successful. :-) | |

| We set out early in the morning from Popradske pleso. My mom climbed bravely all the way to the top. It was a bit chilly, but we had the most beuatiful views ever. | |

| The whole ascent there was raining. On the summit it quit. Koprovy offered us nice views, but followingly, on the descent, it rained again. Perfect hike, but the risk of storm wasn´t negligible... | |
