Kvetnica

Kvetnica is a lush meadow, colourful in early summer, spread under the NE walls of the highest massif in the Tatras (Gerlach, 2655m), by the green trail leading to the pass named Poľský hrebeň (Polish Crest: 2200m). The low-and-lowly looking summit far right is Litvorový štít (2413m)), in fact a really proud peak, especially when viewed from the other side of the ridge.

beautiful shot!

Great shot with that oldschool style... Velicka is a very nice valley with one exception of that shit-looking building of Sliezsky Dom, how stupid were the men responsible for placing that concrete shit in such beautiful scenery I really can't imagine...

Hope they finally come to think a Zakopane style sloping roof can get it right.

I agree..Sliezsky Dom is a big mistake,big monster in such wonderful valley.I remember Kvetnicovy couloir when I was climbing Gerlach via Vielicka Proba.

You were lucky. On July 2004 I saw only a few species of flora in this natural botanic garden...
