| The best thing to know about this trail is that it is great Sierras practice for a full pack. If you can't make it up the last steep section here, you will find popular trails such as the JMT, Mt Whitney and High Sierra Route too difficult as well, but if you can get up this you're off to a good start. | |

| After working our butts off for weeks on end, I invited my sales lady to join me on this hike while I was in town. I enjoyed the "no switchbacks / right up the side of the hill" intensity and was frankly shocked at how few people we saw during our outing. The views from the top were ok, but a bit too smoggy.
