| CMC Trip. There were 5 in our group. We had planned to do both Phoenix & La Garita. We climbed Phoenix first, and saw that there was some weather off to the west. We decided not to do La Garita. We changed our minds when we got down from Phoenix and saw the weather was not so bad. We split with two others in our group and climbed back to the ridge, went over Point ~12,760 and on to La Garita. We didn't stay long, there were a few episodes of light graupel and rain, and then we headed back down and rejoined the other two in our group. A good, long day. |
