La Meije (3983m)
North face of La Meije seen in winter. This pyramid was the last important summit of the Western Alps, conquered in 1877 by Boileau de Castelnau & Gaspard. Only 17 meters missing to make of this legendary mountain one the Alps 4000s. One of the symbols of Parc National des Ecrins (French alps)
