La Plata Peak from the summit of Elbert Comments[ Post a Comment ] | dunking_deutschman | nice shot | |
Voted 10/10 | You made that huge mountain look small and steeper than I remember. I like how you can see the whole northwestern ridge as well as the Ellingwood ridge from this angle. Cool how you can get an idea of just how frickin high the La Plata Basin hangs above the Colorado 82/Lake Creek canyon. | | Posted Nov 30, 2006 7:40 am |

Hasn't voted | Thanks alot! Much appreciated. I thought the same thing about Ellingwood ridge but now that I look at it again, the 'whole' mountain does appear small! Makes me laugh. Again, thanks for the comment. | | Posted Nov 30, 2006 6:35 pm |

Hasn't voted | Thanks, Skorpeo! I was 1 of 3 people up there that day. You can almost see the entire standard route from this view. | | Posted Feb 9, 2007 9:41 pm |
