Great Hiking MountainThis Mountain has been many time our first semester hike on our Club (Trepacerros) it has great sights and it is fairly easy. Last time 75 of us got to the top!! I'm hoping to go there this winter if it gets some snow on it!

Route Climbed: La Escondida Date Climbed: January 15-16, 2005Summited with a group of nine. Camped a the top. Sunny weather and very cold. At night it went sub-freezing. No snow or ice, though. And no annoying, boot clogging mud on the first section.

Route Climbed: El Lomo (the ridge) and north (normal) Date Climbed: October-2000 .We camped overnight on the summit when we climbed the ridge route, a sleet thunderstorm hit us on the way up; it was really muddy and slippery on the way down.
In contrast, it was warm and very dry when we climbed the normal route on a very hazy day six months later, (my second time); I have summited it several times since then.
