Laguna del Sol as viewed from the crater rim near the top of the North Scree Chute on Nov 24, 2002. There are a few smaller lakes behind the mound in the center of the photo, the largest of which is Laguna de la Luna - completely obscured from view here. The trail from the gatehouse brings you to the saddle on the left hand side of the photo from where you can connect to 3 trails heading down to the lake and the 1 trail up El Pico de la Aguila.
