| My friend from Medford Oregon, Dennis Poulin and I snowshoed this puppy from about three miles away (as close as we could get with the snowy road conditions). It snowed and rained on us and the views were minimal but we got the exercise and the peak we wanted. | |

| First we hiked Lemei and then we tagged Lakeview afterwards. We were surprised to find the gate. Dean had done this just a few months previously and found no gate but that is just the way it goes sometimes in logging terrain. We saw some ATVers violating the no motorized vehicle signage. | |

| This was the second of three CoGPPs reached in a single-day that involved a lot of driving and road-hiking. Although it was on a Saturday, some logging operations were still active when I visited this peak. I asked one of the workers about public access, and he said public access is granted as long as visitors do not hold-up any logging operations. A storm rolled in when I reached the summit, eliminating any outward views. | |
