Lassen Peak from Cinder Cone

Lassen Peak from Cinder Cone
This is the view of Lassen Peak as you hike up the trail on Cinder Cone. When my nephew took this picture we were standing straight up. Notice the 40 Degree angled trail that I am on. This trail rises 650 feet in one tenth of a mile. The trail consists of loose gravel that has the consistancy of deep sand.
