Question....Why is Lassen, even though it's a volcano,
only referred to as a "peak," while other
Cascade volcanoes such as Adams, Shasta and
Rainier are known as "mounts?"
Anybody ???

Re: Question....I can't answer that myself but it's quite common for people to call it Mt. Lassen. In fact there's a street in San Rafael called Mt. Lassen Drive!
