Think I did this one on the way back from skiing At Bachelor? No? Maybe when I was just driving through. Can't remember but remember I just hit it on the way north back to Portland at some point. Guessing at the date.

Run up one wintry morning with the dogs. Had the place to myself. Windy and cold and wet.

Love to do this one in the winter when everything is closed and no one is around.
Walked up the road from the parking lot and took the shuttle down. The north side was way cooler in temperature. Did it with Lexi, Mandi, and Doug before checking out the Redmond Lava Tubes.

Drove Up
Rain in the Cascades and surrounding lead me to grow interest in this cinder cone. Took the rim trail from the parking area to save face. Headed over to Bessie Butte afterwords only to run into more storms.
