Layback Dihedral (5.4)

Layback Dihedral (5.4)

Part of the 5.4 Layback Dihedral Route from its base. The lower crack is an alternate and slightly easier way to the upper section; the actual route goes to the right of the protrusion. The rock is quite slippery here-- hence why most people climb this route roped.

I can't believe

I'm seeing a picture of this. This was one of the first rockclimbs I ever did - back in the mid 80's some time!

Re: I can't believe

Another former D.C.-area SP member! I really need to do like the rest of you and escape. If you're interested in some old memories, just keep an eye out over the next two or three weeks, as I'm working on another three crag pages for Great Falls: Seclusion, Romeo's Ladder, and Aid Box.
