Le Conte Glacier seen from Spider-Formidable Col
This is the view south from Spider-Formidable Col. The Le Conte Glacier drapes the north slopes of the twin horns of Old Guard and Sentinel Peaks. Between the horns can be seen the summit ridge of Dome Peak. Gunsight Peak is on the left. Below the snout of the Le Conte Glacier is Le Conte Lake. August 4, 1988.
