Up east ridge, down south face  Sucess!

the summit is so large and flat, one must descend slightly to get the really expansive views (i.e., some foreground). Spent an hour on the summit soaking it in. I could see the snowy Wind River Mts far to the north.

Nice, easy hike  Sucess!

Very nice, easy hike in a remote part of the eastern Uintas. Climbed with RB. Thunderstorms building on the descent, but beautiful day. Only saw another group of three in the distance.

Bird-watching  Sucess!

trip with the Utah County Birders. Looking for white-tailed ptarmigan. Found a hen with 6 chicks and bagged the peak. Super cloudy and rainy morning. Lots of wind up on top. Luckily no lightning, just a nice area wide rain storm, not the usual micro-burst-afternoon-thunderstorm stuff you usually see.
