Leila had a fatal accident

Hi Karrar,

Thank you for posting this picture.
Unfortunately, Leila died a couple of days ago (July 22, 2011) while descending from the summit of Gasherbrum II (K4).
That was a very sad news. She was arguably the best female climber in Iran.

Yes dear friend I agree with you.
I am saddened to hear about the death of Leila. I will always remember her kindness. Her contribution to Iran mountaineering was unique, and she leaves a legacy of achievement that few will match. A great loss for the mountaineering community.
May she rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
