My first introduction to Tuolumne domes. Dirk (Diggler) lead the two pitches. Fun, short climb with great views on the summit.

Fun. There was a little bit of a line but we did get on and it was great.

Headed up to the top via the South Slope with my girlfriend. Tried to find the easiest gradients so she would not be too spooked.

Very easy multipitch climb, maybe the easiest in Tuolumne. Bomber holds everywhere, we had to force ourselves to place pro...

There were only three parties on the route including us, it is so nice to be in Tuolumne early in the season.

Great views from the top!

A quick climb up this slope one evening when I rolled into T Meadows to try out some new climbing shoes. Nice views of the meadow.

Suffered on lead in the Water Cracks in '86. So many climbers focus on the routes. It is a nice summit to continue to at the end of a day. Especially cool to see the sunset and reflected light off of the glacier polish on the domes around the meadows. But L.L. is a favorite of mine because it is off to the side and is often ignored. Climbed that rt. for the first time in '87 with Paul Amstutz, his friend Dave, and Todd Liceau. We climbed early evening with bivy gear in our packs and spent the night on the ledge. Early in the morn' we jettisoned the packs down the slabs and finished the route.

A fairly serious 7-pitch 5.9, with enough runout to tighten any sphincter! It's possible to get off route on pitch 6 or 7. The .10a bolted line to the right of pitch 7 is highly recommended.

My first trad lead in Tuolumne. Very enjoyable. I would come back in 2002 and solo this with Austin Archer. Still enjoyable!

Our high school x-country coach took nine of us runners to Tuolumne for nine days of conditioning. The first evening there we scrambled to the top of Lembert Dome. The coach basically called us a bunch of pussies as we nervously made a night descent. I have been in love with Tuolumne ever since.

Hiked up with friends, Mark, Natasha and Brian from Tuolomne Village. Short and easy with nice views up top. Looped around back to Lembert Dome parking lot and caught the shuttle back to T-V and my truck. Watched robins pluck frogs and tadpoles from a small pond on the north side on the way back. Those guys are vicious!

We arrived in Tuolumne Meadows in the afternoon and had some time to kill so we decided to do a quick scramble. It was a fun adventure for the day and got us in the frame of mind for our climbing course in the following days at the Yosemite Mountaineering School. We had great views at the top.

Fun & easy. Great view of the Meadows. Starts below an orange-splotched area. Scary 4th class to top. One slip & you will be sandpapered to death.
