Levanna Occidentale
Normal Route from L'Ecot (Bonneval sur Arc).
From the parking directly to the Col de Patriotes following "Sources de l'Arc" indications (path). In one day without passing to Refuge du Carro.
No snow, the glacier is almost disappeared...
Route Climbed: normal from Carro hut to Levanna Occidentale Date Climbed: oct. 1985
I had the best conditions that one could expect, moreover a superb full moonlight was somewhat ghostly adorning the landscape as I started around 4.30 PM. Only the very last section (broken slabby rocks dominating the italian side) asks some attention.

NO ridge from Ref. Leonesi and Col Perdù, good snow conditions, and descent on SO ridge till Colle di Forno. Climbed Aug 13, 2000 Wonderful!!!
