I had to get away for a bit, so after I finished a 12 hour shift at work, I hit this one. The switchbacks were pretty rough, don't know if it was just finishing a shift, or what, but its a nice view from the top

Climbed via North Ogden Pass/Skyline Trail. Nice hike, nice trail all the way and a fine view of Ben Lomond north and Mt. Ogden south.

mountaingazelleSeveral times  Sucess!

This was one of the first mountains I climbed after moving to Utah so that is probably why I remember it so well. I have hiked the trail from North Ogden Canyon many times. I have done the Skyline Trail from Pineview Reservoir many times. I have also scrambled up the south side and west face of Lewis Peak. Imontop is telling the truth about the catapillers, they are all over the place during spring.
