Looking down the final 40-foot squeeze chimney on Lightning Bolt Cracks - you get no pro till you get the job done....and if you're a fat f... like me, you'll have to stay outside mostly :) Shirley is at a hanging belay (Nov. 21, 2006).

Yeah not a very happy place for bigger folks :) Looks like you broke it in four pitches, nice!!!!

Had loads of rope drag on the 3rd pitch as I was lacing it up above the roof :)

Had to belay below the chimney which though the easiest pitch on the line, was probably the most spicy!!

Yeah, it's an outstanding route though very hard for me. Summit views are some of the best in the desert (#2 after Castle Valley views IMHO)

I doubt #3 BB would work; a #4 might but the walls seemed so "curvy" that I doubt it would hold anything (and it would be pretty well opened up in there == making it even more unstable IMHO).
