| Brian Jenkins | Descended this route ![]() Date Climbed: Sep 25, 2002 | |
| Went down this way after coming up Tuckerman's on my first climb of Washington. Didn't know this was considered a separate peak. Fun route down though, enjoyed it in good weather. | ||

| We descended to Lion's Head from Washington on a northern Presidents loop. My partner told me the trail would be easy once we got to Lion's Head. Yeah, right. Trip report | ||

| rasgoat | Great route! ![]() Date Climbed: Jan 30, 2010 | |
| My favorite part was the steepest section. Ice axe and crampons a neccesity (in winter of course). this is also a neat area for a wooded glissade, like a winter playland! | ||

| Climbed to Lion Head during an unsuccessful bid on Mt. Washington. Although the weather and my lack of stamina prevented me from getting to the top of Washington, getting this far was magnificent. | ||

| Couldn't make it to the top of Washington due to Hurricane f'ing Ike and 100+mph winds and no visibility, but hit Lion Head and came back down the Lion Head trail (went up via Tuck's). | ||

| sshankle | Not Quite Washington ![]() Date Climbed: Dec 10, 2007 | |
| After climbing Cinema Gully on Mt. Willard, my partner and I approached Huntington Ravine and stayed in the Harvard cabin the next day (my first experience with a sled or a "cabin"). Waking up the next day, avy conditions thwarted my plans in Huntington Ravine. We made it up Lion Head, but turned aroud a few hundred feet short of the Mt. Washington summit in low visibility (10deg.F; 40mph wind; Wind Chill -15). | ||
