Hasn't voted | Thanks. Go to 14ers.com and look at my forum. A whole lot of opinions are being posted. By the way very scary, but very as you say exhilirating! | | Posted Feb 8, 2008 12:03 pm |

Voted 8/10 | Jessicahiker,
How far were you from the Emory cutoff at this point? I know in the 14ers forum you stated you thought about a quarter mile.
Do you know if you were you south of the Corral at this point? Were you south of the Juniper canyon split?
I imagine it was scary.
Seem to be a variety of opinions over at 14ers.com, to say the least.
They sort of hijacked your thread.
Once again, Congrats and thanks for sharing. | | Posted Feb 8, 2008 12:27 pm |

Hasn't voted | He walked up the trail to within I would say 25 feet of the Bear bins. After he jumped back across the trail, we could hear the talking going on at the bins. We first saw him I would say now maybe less than a quarter mile from the bins. | | Posted Feb 8, 2008 12:53 pm |

Voted 10/10 | I so bad would like to glimpse a mountain lion in the wild. And you did it at Big Bend, my second most favorite national park (My son and I have been to 41 of the 58). Congrats for getting a cool pic! --mark d. | | Posted Oct 7, 2009 1:06 pm |
