| With the mild winter, conditions were snow free until the first band of clifts at the headwall of the second and third drainages. Class 3 climbing to the ridge, where a mixed route of ice, snow, and rock to the summit. Manage to snag a few ticks off us. Beautiful clear day, could see cleveland and merrit all the way down to scapegoat mtn in the Bob(?). It was a good scree run down the 3rd drainage, crossed to the second drainage after the scree ran out and turned into forest. Got ourselves back on trail for a brutal posthole back to the car. Only to find that the train is blocking us in!!!!! | |

| Lots of fun climbing on the SW ridge! Views from the top were absolutely spectacular - I was quite surprised to see Mount Merritt and Mount Cleveland far off in the distance. One of the nicest weather days I've ever had in Glacier - low winds, clear skies. Continued north on the Continental Divide to Summit Mountain. | |

| Climbed with Moni on a mostly clear, but very windy day. Descent via the east ridge and scree slopes from the saddle between Little Dog and Summit ("Continental Divide Route"). Steep snow forced us to down climb the Class 4 summit block on the east ridge. | |

| Climbed the SW Ridge - a fun 2nd and 3rd to 4th class scramble of about 1600 vertical feet. Descended the south side route, where the scree makes descent more fun. Great day out. With Fred. | |

| Great day to climb in Glacier. Went up Little Dog first on a two summit day. Strapped on the crampons and kicked up the snow to avoid the scree slog on the way up the south side from Marias Pass; actually made better progress that way. | |
