| Bryan and I summited Scout Patrol Peak, and then traverse over to Little Saint Helens. The westher and snow conditions were good, although windy. *A lot* of people target shooting nearby, along the roadways. | |

| Might plan for after Christmas if you plan to spend much time on the roadwalk as many cars here for Christmas tree season. Many 4WDs stuck on the road and no turnarounds but that didn't stop about 60 cars today. Nice new trip to break the I-90 blues. | |

| We walked up the road to the summer trailhead to Little Saint Helens. Other drove up the road and got stuck in search for Christmas trees. I might want to do this again only by true winter route. | |
