Hasn't voted | It was a warmish day, so he was moving relatively slowly. This was the best of about 5 pictures.
I didn't recognize it as a chuckwalla. The ones I've seen in Joshua Tree look a bit different, and were usually hanging out in cracks. Very funny to be cimbing a route and come accross one. | | Posted Oct 13, 2006 10:25 pm |

and yellowish or reddish toward rear. Diurnal,
