Come to think of it, both climbs I've done on the peak ( Direct South Face back in 1980 and Bastille Buttress in 1981 ) were surreal experiences!

Michele, this photo was taken the day after Kris and I climbed Lone Pine Peak. I was too lazy to roll out of the tent; just open the flap and snap! Awesome experience!
