| I was putting my boots on when a local came to see if I was lost or needed assistance. I told him I was after the county highpoint and he said he had lived there all his life and no one ever mentioned the county highpoint before. The highpoint was covered in snow and not very exciting. | |

| My wife and I did the bushwhack to get to the high point. She was less than impressed with what this one offered. Fortunately we found a good animal path on the way back down to the road. Yes, only a county highpointer would go after this one. | |

| This was my second-to-last peak during a big 1350-mile RT excursion to do multiple Oregon CoHPs and CoGPPs during one weekend. The drive is more "long" than the mountain. Not a very exciting peak, although there are some decent views through the trees and past clearcut areas. This was my 101st USA CoHP. | |
