"Look we are almost at the top of the Grand!!!" the deceiving view of the Grand Teton on the way up Disappointment Peak(The Grand is separated by a huge drop from the summit of Disappointment Peak), Teton Range

Photographer: Jackson Herring AKA Panama Red June 9, 2013 Photo taken on a solo climb I made of Disappointment Peak in the early season. There was still tons of snow, and the "4th class" scrramble to the plaateau ended up being a dicey ascent up high angle snow and wet rock. The view from the summit was incredible.
