Looking around on the summit

Montifringilla Nivalis (fringuello alpino in italian, white-winged snowfinch in english).
This beutiful little bird with tens of others crouded the summit of Nuvolau. You can see them soaring and fighting the gusts of wind, and it is is amazing how such little bodies can withstand the elements.
They are also apparently not very scared of humans, so i was able to get quite close to it.
In the background there is Mount Civetta

This is a very cool photo. It's nice that the bird let you get so close to it. The background is beautiful as well.

	Hasn't voted	Thank you. I imagine the bird was disappointed i didn't feed it, because they are so close to the hut that they are surely used to humans. But i guess it must have feasted with the crumbs from my snack...
