Looking back at the goat trail connecting Ptarmigan Tunnel to Redgap Pass. At center, the large gap in the jagged ridge is the notch that is seen from the north side of Ptarmigan Tunnel. There's a commanding view of the Kennedy Creek drainage and a great broad rock platform to pause at this spot. Following the ridge to the right, a narrow crack partially filled with snow is visible; this is where the goat trail precariously makes its way down towards Redgap Pass. Click
