Looking back down the slope...
Looking back down the slope toward Horse Meadows, the route is pretty much a sand and scree slog. I include this pic to show the type of terrain you encounter on the south side approach. June 5 2004

Did you go straight at the summit or to the saddle between Job's Sister and Freel. I went down at the saddle and the sandy scree made for some fun boot ski / plunge stepping on the way down.

I hit the saddle between them. I really wanted to go over and get Job's Sister and Job's peak but just didn't have the extra time, despite the quick up. The descent was super easy with the boot skiing on the way down.

I dropped about 1200 feet in fifteen minutes. SWEET.

After experiencing this route, i am glad I didn't go the "normal" route.
