Looking down the famous "Glocknerleitl"

Looking down the steepest ice-part (between 35° and 40°, called "Glocknerleitl") of the normal route to Grossglockner (3.798 m), the highest peak of Austria. The picture was taken at the "shoulder" of Kleinglockner (where the rock-climbing part begins) shortly after sunrise on a nearly perfect day. - Click to enlarge - 28th of August 2008 by Herbert
